Scrollport requests the following browser permissions:

Storage

To save your bookmarks locally in your browser.

Active Tab

To interact with the current webpage for text selection and bookmarking.

Scripting

To inject the bookmarking interface and handle text selection.

Context Menus

To add "Add to Scrollport" option when right-clicking selected text.

Unlimited Storage

To ensure you can store as many bookmarks as needed.

Tabs

To enable cross-tab navigation and bookmark jumping.

All URLs Host Permission

To work on every website you visit.

All permissions are used solely for the extension's core functionality and are never used for tracking or data collection.

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

  • Delete individual bookmarks through the extension interface
  • Clear all bookmarks with the "Clear" button
  • Uninstall the extension to remove all data
  • Clear browser data through Chrome settings

Updates and Changes

We may update this privacy policy as the extension evolves. Any changes will be reflected in the extension's update notes and this webpage.
